Socket Preservation
After an extraction or before a dental implant procedure you might need socket preservation treatment to build up your jawbone. Also known as a bone graft, the Benicia Oral Surgery team knows the importance a healthy jawbone means to your oral health. A socket preservation is a quick and minimally invasive procedure.
An alveoloplasty is a simple procedure to reshape your jawbone in preparation for a number of dental prosthetics. The experts at Benicia Oral Surgery make sure your jaw is contoured so your jaw will fit whatever prosthetic you desire. This procedure is also often performed after a tooth extraction to smooth bone spurs.

Tori Removal
Torus palatinus (upper) is a bony protrusion on the palate. Torus mandibularis (lower) is a bony growth in the mandible along the surface nearest to the tongue. They are often uncomfortable and a nuisance if you wear a dental appliance such as dentures and affect your oral hygiene. Fortunately, the team of experts at Benicia Oral Surgery offers safe and effective tori removal.
An unusual growth in your mouth or throat can be unsettling. Come into the Benicia Oral Surgery office at the first sign of anything unusual. The team of oral surgeons are experts in cyst removals and biopsies of suspicious tissues.

Grid & Chain
Sometimes cuspids and canines get impacted and don’t emerge the way they should. These teeth are important to your overall health so necessary steps need to be taken to ensure they grow in correctly. Benicia Oral Surgery offers grid & chain therapy to quickly and safely treat your impacted canines.
